        In the context of its responsibilities under Chapter VII of the EURATOM treaty, the Nuclear Safeguards Directorate (DG ENER-E) of the European Commission uses a large number of neutron detection systems. A consequent part of the pool of neutron counting electronics used is now aged and more difficult to maintain in operation. Furthermore, installation of new neutron detection systems are foreseen in the coming years and consecutively, the pool of instruments needs to be extended in both number and capability.

        In this call for tender, we request bids for the neutron counting electronic. The tender is divided in 3 different lots, each covering a different range of application.

        The device should time-stamp the consecutive TTL pulses coming from a neutron detector and record the pulse train on a PC for each of its channels. From that, the program should allow further analysis of the data. Data acquired should be exportable in INCC file format. A maximum of 5 units will be purchased.
